On September 11, 2010 the Legion Riders Chapter of The American Legion 9-11 Memorial Post 2001 was formed.
The Chapter’s purpose, taken directly from its by-laws is;
A. To participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the Aims and Purposes of the American Legion.
B. To promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest.
C. To use our Chapter to promote and support programs of the American Legion.
Post 2001’s Legion Riders Chapter is open to all qualifying members of the American Legion Family whose Post does not have their own ALR Chapter.
